Privacy

TH Trending has no accounts and no sign-up. It doesn't ask for your name or email, and it doesn't keep a record of what you watch. Here's what does happen when you use it.

Saved on your device

Your My List, a few cached details that help posters load faster, and any notices you've dismissed are saved in your browser's local storage. So is a TMDB key, if you typed one into the site's Connect TMDB box. None of this is sent to us, and clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.

Services the site uses

Like most websites, TH Trending loads some things directly from other companies' servers. When your browser connects to them, they receive your IP address and basic details about your browser, and their own privacy policies apply.

• Netlify hosts the site and keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses. Netlify's privacy policy
• TMDB (The Movie Database) supplies movie and show information, posters and other images. TMDB's privacy policy
• Google Fonts supplies the site's typefaces. Google's privacy policy
• YouTube plays trailers in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and only after you press Play trailer.
• The Internet Archive, a nonprofit library at archive.org, supplies the list of free public-domain films, plays them when you press Play, and serves the files when you download one.
• Watch, Rent and Buy buttons take you to TMDB's watch page for that title and from there to the service you choose. Streaming availability comes from JustWatch, through TMDB.

Advertising

TH Trending may show ads served by Google AdSense. When it does:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices.
